# Disciplinary Action

Disciplinary action may become necessary if employees create a pattern of disregard for office policies and procedures. Office disciplinary procedure will follow a simple three-step process as outlined below. Some policies have disciplinary measures directly related to the policy; these will be indicated on those policy documents.

| **1st Offense** | Verbal notice. |
| --- | --- |
| **2nd Offense** | Written notice of potential “probation.” |
| **3rd Offense** | Placed on probation, possibly resulting in further discipline. * |
