# X-Ray Procedure and Examples

# Procedure:

- Have the patient empty their pockets and remove belts and jewelry.
- Have the patient remove shoes. (unless heel lift needed for x-ray.)
- Label X-Rays (R/L or Ferg etc.)
- Adjust the brightness of the X-ray.
- Adjust mAs when necessary.
