New Patient file flow: TECA creates a new patient file as part of the NP process and sends it to FD for entry of patient data. After patient data entry is complete, COCA routes the file to the D.C. desk so D.C. can prepare the file for R.O.F. Once that preparation is complete, D.C. forwards the file to the BOCA desk so BOCA can prepare the financials for R.O.F. After the financials are prepared, BOCA places the file in the Day 2 box to await the scheduled R.O.F. date. On the R.O.F. date, TECA moves the file to the file rack in the admin room, indicating that the file is ready for D.C. on the day of report.
