ROF Scheduling #
💡 Follow NP Check-Out Procedure, insert the following scripting when describing the ROF:
“That’s going to be about a 40-minute appointment. You will learn how we interpret your scans and x-rays to find the underlying cause of your issues, and then the doctor will go over YOUR findings and discuss his plan for how our office can help you. You will get your first adjustment at that time as well. It will be an additional $75. You and LOVED ONE will have a chance to ask any questions you have at that visit, also, ok?”
Patient Arrival for ROF: #
💡 Prepare ROF room ahead of time. The video should be pulled up and ready to click play. Ensure ROF room is tidy.
Greeting: “Hi PATIENT NAME and SPOUSE NAME, we’ve been expecting you for your report today. The doctor is ready to go over the results of your exam. Follow me back to the report room, and we can get you started.”
💡 Offer the patient a bottle of water to have while they watch the video.
In the Room: “Have a seat here, I’m going to start you with this video that will help you learn how to read the results of your scans and x-rays. Be sure to pay close attention since some of the doctor’s questions will relate to what is covered in this video. When the video is over, the Doctor will come in and go over your information with you.”
💡 Put in chat that the ROF Patient is watching the video, and the spouse’s name. This should alert the D.C. that they have about 18 minutes until they should go into the room.
