Step 1: Identify Program Participation #

If the patient confirms Link Academy participation:

• Document “Link Academy Sponsorship Program” in the patient’s appt note
• Proceed with Link Academy billing procedures
• Apply the following fees to be charged to Link Academy credit:
  • Full new patient exam fee
  • $65 for adjustment fees
  • Schedule out care but there will be no MUD procedure for missed visits.
  • Therapy and massage are added to ledger at full price.
  • Cost and care plan financial will not be discussed with the patient.

If the patient does NOT mention Link Academy or any sponsorship program:

• Process as a standard patient
• Apply normal patient fees according to standard fee schedule

Step 2: Documentation Requirements #

• Mark patient file with “Link Academy Sponsorship Program” tag in Trackstat
• Process billing through Ledger transfer from Link Academy ledger

Important Notes #

• Patient must self-identify: The patient must mention the Link Academy Sponsorship Program themselves. If they do not, treat them as a standard patient.
• No assumptions: Do not assume a patient is part of the program based on appearance, age, or any other factor.
• Questions: If uncertain about a patient’s status, verify with office manager before proceeding.
• MUDs: We do not follow MUD procedure for Link Academy Scholarship students.
