3.1 Dress Code Explanation #

In order to allow our patients to feel comfortable in our office, Hill Family Chiropractic maintains a casual, yet professional atmosphere. Employee dress is a major part of ensuring that patients will feel that they are in a safe and professional environment and that their wellness needs are in good hands.

3.2 Dress Code Policies #

All employees must be clean and well-groomed. Grooming styles dictated by religion and ethnicity are not restricted.

All clothes must be work-appropriate.

  • Closed toed shoes
  • Casual dress pants or skirt. (Slacks and khakis. No shorts.)
  • Accepted blue jeans (no holes, not overly faded, if in doubt, ask.)

  • Polo/Dress Shirts or Blouses.
  • HFC Logo shirts (No non-HFC Logo t-shirts and No tank tops.)
  • Jackets or pullovers must be free from holes, clean, and well-fitting.
  • Active wear is allowed as long as it complies with all dress code policies.
  • Hats are not allowed unless branded with the HFC or other relevant Logos

All clothes must project professionalism. Clothes that are too revealing or inappropriate are not allowed.

Employees must avoid clothes with offensive or inappropriate messages.

3.3 Dress Code Expectations #

Employees are expected to abide by the dress code policy during all shift hours. Shift hours begin with the pre-shift huddle and end when the last patient for the shift has left the building.

💡 If you change for a workout before all patients have left, please remain in the fitness studio area until our shift has ended.

If an employee has a question about the dress code policy or compliance with that policy, they should speak with the Office manager.

3.4 Disciplinary Action #

When an employee disregards the dress code, they will be warned and asked to change immediately. Further action, including loss of bonus, or termination, may be taken if an employee continues to disregard the dress code after being warned.
