15 – 20 Min Late: Alert TECA to call and check if they are still coming. FD Prep paperwork with name, birthday, phone and email **** and then ask patient to fill out How can we help.” “HX Trauma” and “IMPACT OF YOUR SYMPTOMS” sections only.
20+ Minutes Late: Alert patient that we may Push D.C. portion to a follow up visit. (With D.C. Permission)
30+ Minutes Late: Push History and D.C. Portion to Follow Up Visit. At check in call, patient is told it will be a short visit or they can reschedule if they’d like.
40+ Minutes Late: Reschedule exam.
FDCO and CICA’s job is to direct traffic. (Adapt and shift on the spot.) CareCor’s job is to help adapt and change (2nd scan room) when we get thrown a curveball. We have to allow them to do their job and help us do ours. Procedure is to use an extra person to help with timing when a patient is late or there are more than one New Patient.
