Objections Scripting #

Each follows a step-by-step formula: #

  1. Acknowledge/relate (“I completely understand…”)
  1. Normalize (“Many of our patients have felt the same way…”)
  1. Reframe with value (“What they found is…” / “Here’s why the doctor recommended this…”)
  1. Motivate toward commitment (“This will help you save time, money, and get the best results…”)

Financial Objections #

  • “I don’t think I can afford this…” – Patient is concerned about pricing.

I understand that finances are a major factor in deciding how to move forward. We have other patients who feel the same way but what they’ve found is that investing into their health now has saved them a lot of time, money, and health problems later. I will say that these are the best recommendations intended to assure you achieve your goals. Many times the Doctor can alter the recommendations to meet your needs. Can I ask what price range may be more ideal for your situation? This may help the doctor put together a plan that is more ideal for your situation.

We will extend a care plan up to 6 months to help with payment amounts but only after discussing removing other modalities. (Doctor has final say.)

Payment Method Objections #

  • “Can’t I just pay when I come in. I don’t want autopay. (or to give you a card or bank…etc.)” – Patient concerned about autopayments or having payment method on file.

I understand, we have had many patients who are , like yourself, concerned about autopayment but we’ve found that it is very easy to manage and make changes if necessary. Choosing to be on a care plan does come with more of a commitment but also comes with a large savings and better long term results. You see, we offer discounts for care plan patients because it saves our office administrative time and because it ensures more of a commitment so that patients follow through and get the best outcomes. We have no problem with paying as you go. It would be $75 per adjustment so unfortunately you’d be missing out on the plan discount that makes the adjustment under $50.

Time/Commitment Objections #

  • “I don’t have time for all these appointments.” – Patient concerned about the time commitment required for the treatment plan.

I completely understand how you feel. Many of our patients have felt the same way at first–they were busy with work, family, and life. But what they found is that by making the sacrifice by carving out time early on and prioritizing these visits, they actually saved time and money in the future. Why? Because the consistency now helped them heal faster, prevent relapses, and reduce the need for more frequent care later. By investing the time up front, you’re setting yourself up for long-term freedom and better results.

  • “Can we space out the visits more?” – Patient requesting less frequent appointments.

“That’s a great question, and I can understand why you’d ask that. Many patients have wondered the same thing. What they discovered is that spacing out visits too much slowed down their progress and ended up taking longer to reach their goals. The schedule your doctor recommended is designed to get you the fastest and most lasting results. If you’d like, you can review your goals with the doctor and make sure you’re comfortable moving forward.”

Treatment Plan Objections #

  • “Do I really need this many visits?” – Patient questioning the necessity of the recommended frequency.

I’m glad you asked–that’s an important question. What’s recommended here isn’t random; it’s based on your scans, your x-rays, and your personal goals. Many patients have felt unsure about the number of visits at first, but they’ve found that following through gave them the transformation they were looking for. If you’d prefer fewer visits, that’s something we can discuss with the doctor–it would just mean re-aligning the expectations of what results you can achieve.

  • “I want to see how I feel after a few visits before committing.” – Patient hesitant to commit to a full treatment plan upfront.

I totally understand that hesitation–many people have felt the same way. What they found, though, is that while they might feel some relief after a few visits, true correction and lasting change requires consistency. If we only go until you ‘feel better,’ the problem underneath typically does not get fixed and will likely come back. This plan is designed not just to help you feel better, but to put you on a path to correct the root issue so you can stay better.

Skepticism Objections #

  • “How do I know this will actually work?” – Patient expressing doubt about treatment effectiveness.

That’s a great question. Many patients have asked that same thing, especially if they’ve tried other things before that didn’t work. What they found is that this approach is different–it’s personalized to your scans, x-rays, and goals. While no one can guarantee exactly how your body will respond, we’ll track your progress closely and make changes as needed. If you are like most of our patients…When you commit to follow through with your plan, you will see the results they were hoping for.

  • “I’ve tried other treatments before with no success.” – Patient citing previous disappointing experiences.

I can understand your frustration. Many of our patients have felt exactly the same way–like they’d already tried everything. But what they found is that this approach is different because it doesn’t just cover up the problem, it addresses the root cause. By following through consistently, they finally see lasting results after years of disappointment. That’s why sticking with the plan is so important–it gives your body the best chance to heal.

Commitment Level Objections #

  • “I’m still not sure if this is right for me.” – Patient expressing uncertainty about proceeding with treatment.

I completely get that–this is a big decision. Many patients have felt uncertain at this point. What helped some of them was remembering why they came in to begin with: to finally get answers and a plan that will help them feel better, move better, and live better. If you don’t mind me asking, what part of the plan feels unclear or concerning–whether it’s time, cost, or something else–so we can address it together.

  • “I need to think about it more.” – Patient delaying decision-making.

I totally understand–it’s natural to want to think it over. Many of our patients have felt the same way, but what they found is that waiting usually meant staying stuck in the same pain and frustration longer. Moving forward now means you start healing today, not weeks or months down the road. What part would you like more clarity on so you feel confident making a decision?

Duration Objections #

  • Resistance to longer-term commitments – Patients showing hesitation about committing to extended treatment periods (like a year instead of four months).

That’s understandable–committing to something long-term can feel overwhelming. Many patients have felt the same way, but what they discovered is that the length of the plan matches the amount of time it takes to truly put them on a path to correct the underlying problem. Shorter plans might give relief, but the issue usually comes right back. By committing now, you’re actually saving yourself from years of repeated flare-ups and costs. You’ll get lasting change instead of just temporary relief.
