Express Family New Patient Exam Procedure #

💡
Our vision is to see as many families as we can. To this end, this exam procedure has been created so we can streamline their NP process, getting everyone started as quickly as possible. In this scenario, keep in mind that an adult is anyone over 12 years old, and a baby would be under 6.

2 New Patients at Once (Adults and/or Kids) #

Schedule 20 Extra Minutes: 10 more TECA minutes and 10 more D.C. minutes per extra patient.

Double New Patients should never be scheduled back-to-back.

Note: Dr Wasson would to prefer to never do NP for children younger than 6.

3+ NP at Once (Never more than 1 adult.) #

3 NP = 120 Minutes, 20 extra for TECA, and 20 Extra for D.C.

The D.C. must approve more than 3 NP at once before being scheduled.

Time for more than 3 would increase by 20 minutes for each New Patient.

💡
Remember: Policies and procedure are a framework for us to give the patient the best care. Not rules to enforce on our patients.
